Quick and Easy Battery Swapping

One of the coolest things about Gogoro’s scooters is how quickly you can charge them. They’ve set up special battery swapping stations where you can swap out a used battery for a fully charged one in seconds. These stations will first pop up in Delhi and Goa by the end of this year. By mid-2024, you’ll find them in Mumbai and Pune too.

Gogoro says their swapping tech is 50% faster than filling up a petrol scooter. They plan to have 10,000 of these swapping stations across India by 2025. Plus, they’re teaming up with the government to make sure there’s plenty of places to charge or swap batteries.

Three Cool Models to Choose From

The Gogoro Crossover comes in three different models: GX250, 50, and S. Right now, you can buy the GX250 model. The other two models, 50 and S, will hit the market next year. All these scooters are made in a factory in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

What Makes the Gogoro Crossover Special?

The Gogoro Crossover is designed with users in mind. It has LED headlights, a split-seat design, and a ground clearance of 176 mm, which means it can handle uneven roads pretty well. The GX250 model has a motor that can go up to 60 km/h and a range of 111 kilometers on a single charge. The 50 model will have a stronger motor, and the S model offers two motor options.

What’s Next for Gogoro?

Gogoro’s got big plans for the future. They want to start selling directly to customers by the end of 2024. Right now, they’re focused on setting up a network of battery swapping stations all over India. The Gogoro Crossover is a big step forward for electric scooters in India. With its range, features, and fast charging options, it’s likely to shake up the scooter market.
