The fines can be anywhere from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000, depending on how serious the rule-breaking is.
Even if you’re wearing a helmet, you could still get fined Rs 2,000. This has made some people worry that wearing helmets might not be worth it anymore.
But the goal isn’t to stop people from wearing helmets.
It’s to make sure everyone follows all the rules to keep everyone safe on the road.
