Hyundai i30 Sedan: Your Wait is Over, New Sedan Coming Soon!

Hyundai Australia has issued a recall for its 2023 i30 Sedan 1.6T model. The reason behind this recall is a problem with the car’s ‘fail-safe’ mode in its dual-clutch transmission system.

The car’s ‘fail-safe’ mode is like a safety feature that kicks in when something goes wrong with the transmission.

However, due to a software error, this fail-safe mode might not work properly when there’s a problem with the oil pump in the transmission.

This glitch could lead to a sudden loss of power while driving, which can be dangerous.

If the ‘fail-safe’ mode doesn’t work correctly, it could result in the car losing power or even stalling while you’re driving.

Imagine you’re on the road, and suddenly your car stops moving; this could lead to accidents and harm to both you and other people on the road.

Hyundai has identified that 130 vehicles are part of this recall.

To find out if your car is one of them, you can check the vehicle identification number (VIN) list provided by Hyundai.
