Government’s New Scheme Offers Massive Discounts on Electric Scooters!

The Indian government has launched a new scheme called the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 (EMPS 2024) to encourage people to buy electric scooters with Massive Discounts on Electric Scooters.

This scheme comes as a replacement for the FAME-II subsidy program, which has now ended.

The aim of the EMPS 2024 scheme is to help more people switch to electric scooters, which are better for the environment.

The EMPS 2024 scheme will be available for a limited time, starting from April 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024.

The government has set aside ₹500 crores to help people buy electric vehicles, especially electric scooters.

During this period, the scheme aims to support the purchase of around 3,72,215 electric vehicles by providing financial assistance.

The government has approved 11 electric scooter manufacturers to participate in the EMPS 2024 scheme.
